London Constructing Excellence Club (LCEC) is the London regional club for National Constructing Excellence, the single organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction, housing and regeneration. LCEC work with the whole of the supply chain and our regional partners to adopt the ideas set out in the Latham and Egan reports and embrace collaborative working and innovation.
Our mission is to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment.
Our vision is for the UK construction industry to realise maximum value to all clients, end users and stakeholders and exceed their expectations through the consistent delivery of world-class products and services.
We provide monthly events, usually on the second Tuesday of the month in a Central London (EC4) location, that provide a technical learning forum for industry and networking for all construction sectors.
Our members include designers, consultants, contractors, clients, educational institutions, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Events: Professionals from the built environment choose LCEC to help them improve their knowledge and learn about new technologies, procedures, standards, build contacts and develop effective relationships and business opportunities. All events qualify towards Continuing Professional Development certificates. We host events on a wide range of topics, including procurement, building regulations, BIM, off-site construction, British standards etc. more
Join LCEC: The London Constructing Excellence Club is a membership organisation running events for the benefit of our members and being a not-for-profit organisation our income is derived purely from subscriptions and supplemented via door entry and any other donations.
Membership subscription runs from 1st January – 31st December, so please note: you shall be sent a reminder that your subscription falls due on 1st January, NOT 12 months on from the date you joined. Many thanks in advance.
Our 2020 subscription rates are grouped into one of the following three classifications and cover the calendar period 1st January to 31st December 2020:
The Early Bird Discount (EBD) mentioned above is only applicable if subscription fees are paid by our February Club meeting. Payment after that date would be the full annual fee.
In addition to the above, the Club offers an 'Autumn Discount' of 40% for individuals or organisations that join on or after 1st September. This can be achieved through application of the relevant coupon when applying - MO1FXMQH.
Early payment of annual subscriptions is encouraged such that we are able to fund the procurement of the venues required to deliver our planned programme of events. Your early payment cooperation via either a cheque or preferably BACS auto transfer is therefore greatly appreciated.
Corporate members of national Constructing Excellence (CE) may nominate any CE Club (including the LCEC) as their club. LCEC encourages members of CE (particularly London based members) to nominate LCEC. In return for such nomination CE will pay a £100 part contribution towards their nominated club membership fee. Our 2018 Corporate subscription, via a CE nomination is therefore £170 payment from you and £100 from CE. For further details of how this CE payment arrangement operates please refer to Colm Quinn (Colm.Quinn@constructingexcellence.org.uk) who looks after national CE’s membership information.
LCEC can only grant free admittance to LCEC events to those members of CE who have formally notified us that LCEC is their nominated club. We hope that you will take up this excellent offer.
Attendance at our events is free of charge to all paid members, or alternatively can be pre-booked through Eventbrite at £25 person per event, or via an ‘on-the-door’ contribution of £30 per person per event.
