By 2025 Developers will be required to meeting the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. Assets that do not have a clear NZC strategy and sufficient reductions in operational energy use are at risk of being “stranded”, unable to gain funding. What are the implications and what should we be looking at now to address this?
Historically the construction industry has performed poorly in commissioning buildings. With a shift in emphasis to continual commissioning how might a Building Digital Twin and Design for Performance help manage operational energy use and reduce carbon?
