Covid-19 has touched every part of the construction sector, with wide ranging impacts on health, employment, commercial and economic issues. The CLC Covid-19 Task Force has worked collaboratively to overcome these challenges. The CLC Roadmap to Recovery has 3 key elements: restart, reset, reinvent, addressing immediate, short-term and medium-term aspects of the industry's recovery. Alasdair’s presentation will outline how the industry pulled together to develop its recovery plan, and the change that this is already driving in the sector.

This webinar is presented by Alasdair Reisner, Chief Executive of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).

CECA is the representative body for the UK’s civil engineering contractors, who build and maintain the nation’s critical infrastructure networks in the key sectors of transport, energy, water, waste, and communications. CECA represents over 300 contractors of all sizes, covering approximately 80% of the civil engineering market in Great Britain. Since March 2020 Alasdair has been working with industry colleagues as part of the Construction Leadership Council Covid-19 Task Force. He has been Chief Executive at CECA since 2014.
