In the wake of the Grenfell tragedy in June 2017, the Government has recently announced the new Fire Safety Bill. This will affect all new buildings.

This webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Significant developments since the fires at Grenfell Tower and Lakanal House
  • New government guidance concerning fire safety (including from MHCLG) and new industry requirements, such as for sprinkler systems in buildings over 11 metres and for wayfinding signage
  • The proposals contained in the Fire Safety Bill
  • The future - what the Bill may mean for your building.
This webinar is presented by Marc Pawson, Technical Director for Fire Engineering at Hydrock.

Marc joined Hydrock in 2020 to lead the Fire Risk Management team. Along with 12 years’ experience in fire engineering for the healthcare, residential and leisure sectors, Marc also brings his knowledge of providing expert witness statements on fire safety provisions and building design.
